Aruni Doval was born in Bagyali, a village in Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand, into a Brahmin family. She completed her schooling in Dehradun and later graduated from Uttarakhand University. Born around the year 1950, she grew up with strong cultural and traditional values that she continues to uphold in her life.

Education and Career

By profession, Aruni Doval started as a teacher, which reflects her love for education and knowledge. Later, she was associated with corporate responsibilities, serving as a director in private firms focusing on legal, tax, accounting, and research consultancy. Marriage and Family Life

In 1972, Aruni married Ajit Doval, who went on to become one of the most respected and influential security advisors of India. The couple has two sons:

• Shaurya Doval – An investment banker and politician associated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He is also a founding member of the India Foundation, a well-known think tank.

• Vivek Doval – A UK-qualified financial analyst who has established his career in global finance.
